Michelle Barr
Dartmouth College Women’s Assistant Michelle Barr joined the NH ODP Staff in 2008 - she is a former Scottish national team player and captain, and was selected to play for the Scottish full national team at the age of 16 and represented her country 87 times during the past 10 years. Barr has an extensive playing background all over Europe and the U.S. including the Scottish champion Cumbernauld Ladies, for the England F.A. Doncaster Belles and Leeds United, in the Icelandic women’s Premier League for IBV, the league runners up for three years and the Icelandic Cup holders in 2004. She also played in the U.S. for W-League teams, including the Miami Gliders, Vermont Voltage and the Boston Renegades. Prior to coming to Hanover, Barr coached with the Scottish Football Association Regional Development program, and coached with Professional Clubs Celtic FC and Falkirk with their youth programs, and also spent a summer as U-18 coach for premier club IBV in Iceland. She holds SFA levels 1, 2 and 3 on the Children and Youth pathway and is currently part of the Children’s License program. Barr received an First Class Honors Degree in Leisure Management with Sports Development from Loughborough College in 2008.

Cindy Bennett
Cindy Bennett joined the NH ODP Staff in 2008, after a stellar playing career at Stony Brook University, and for the Hampton Road Piranhas and the Long Island Lady Rough Riders, and after coaching as an Assistant for both the University of Virginia and Stony Brook women’s programs. Currently Bennett works with both the Dartmouth and Colby-Sawyer women soccer programs, as well as a number of youth organizations. Cindy is also currently the head goalkeeper coach of the U13 Region I Women’s Program.

Gabe Bernstein
Gabe Bernstein joined the NH ODP Staff in 2009. Bernstein played collegiate soccer at Penn State University where he was a four year starter, captaining the Nittany Lions during his junior and senior seasons. While at Penn State, Gabe was named to the NSCAA Scholar All-Region Team, and was honored as an Academic All Big-Ten selection. Bernstein went onto play two seasons in the United Soccer League with the Charleston Battery and the Pittsburgh Riverhounds before attending Springfield College where he earned his Masters Degree in Athletic Counseling. In his youth, Gabe was a NJ ODP player, a Region I team member, and a US National Team pool member. Bernstein played club soccer for Match Fit Academy out of New Jersey. Along with his NH ODP responsibilities, Bernstein coaches Varsity Girls Soccer at the Tilton School, and is also a member of the New Hampshire Classics coaching staff. Gabe is currently working towards a USSF C License.

Michael Berry
Mike Berry joined the NH ODP staff in 2009. Currently, Mike is the assistant principal and athletic director at White Mountains Regional High School. Prior to relocating to New Hamphire Coach Berry worked at the AFC Lightning Soccer Club in Fayetteville Georgia where he coached a number of different age groups. He also served as boys and girls varsity soccer coach at Northgate High school in Newnan, Ga since 2004. Coach Berry holds a USSF B license. Berry is a former New Hampshire native, having coached in the NHSA for among others Nashua World Cup over a decade ago.

Chuck Breton
Chuck Breton joined the NH ODP Staff in 2009. He was a four year starter at Gordon College in Wenham, Mass. While there his teams won two New England Championships and attended two NAIAA National Tournaments, and where Chuck received NAIAA All American Honorable Mention honors as a midfielder. After college he played with a unique amateur team called Sports Life SC that competed through out the states, Austria, France and England. Chuck has been a longtime youth coach in New Hampshire, most recently serving with Concord Express and as a Concord High School coach; and he is the founder of the renowned Samba Player Development Program that he runs out of the Concord Sports Center in the winter.

Dave Decew
New England College Men's Head Coach Dave Decew joined the NH ODP Staff for the 2004 season. He previously worked as an Assistant Coach at Babson College. DeCew played collegiately at Bowdoin College where he was a four-year letterman, a NSCAA 1st team All-American and a NESCAC First Team member; he was also honored as the Oustanding Male Athlete at Bowdoin, and won the George Levine Memorial Soccer Trophy as the team MVP in his senior year.

Rob Dow
Rob is the Assistant Mens’ Coach at Southern New Hampshire University, and formally the Head Coach at Dean College. Rob is a former New Hampshire Phantoms and University of Maine player, and also played for the Canadian U18 National Team.

Beau Frasier
Beau Fraser joined the New Hampshire ODP Staff in 2009. He played colligate soccer at the University of North Carolina at Charlotte, where he was a two-year starter. As a freshman, he was selected to the Atlantic Ten Conference All Rookie team. After college, he played for the Austin Aztex PDL team. Beau, who is originally from New Hampshire, played for New Hampshire ODP and was also on the Region 1 ODP team. Beau began coaching at St. Stephens Episcopal School in Austin, Texas where he coached the middle school soccer team. Beau also coaches for Nashua World Cup and Memorial High School. Beau received his USSF “C” License in July of 2005, and his National Youth License in August of 2009.

Julie Hemsley
Julie Hemsley joined the NH ODP Staff in 2004. Julie has held several coaching positions, most significantly she served in 1995 as an Assistant Coach for the English FA Women's National Team as part of the Women's World Cup competition in Sweden. Julie was the first woman to be elected to the English FA Council, and has accomplished much for the development of women's youth soccer in England. She has represented England as a player in international competition, and has coached the NH Lady Phantoms among other teams here in New Hampshire; she is currently coaching at MISL. Julie holds a UEFA "B" License and a USSF 'D' License, and also serves as an Assistant Coach for the St. Anselm College women's soccer program.

Tom Johnson
Tom Johnson first coached NH ODP in the late 80's, and returned to the NH ODP Staff in 1999 as the U14 Boys Head Coach. Tom played collegiately at the University of New Hampshire, and professionally for the Toronto franchise of the NASL. Tom owns the soccer tour company "Atlantic Crossing" and he is currently the Varsity Boys Head Coach at Oyster River High School. Tom holds both a USSF A License and an NSCAA Advanced National Diploma.

Ryan Joy
Ryan joined the NH ODP Staff in 2008. He played at the collegiate level for WPI, and was a 1st-Team All-State high school player at Concord High School, and he played on 2004 Twin State Lion's Cup team representing NH. Ryan played NH ODP soccer for three years, and club soccer for NH Classics, Hampshire FC and the NH Phantoms Super Y league teams. Ryan currently coaches for the Concord Express soccer club.

Mehdi Katane
Mehdi Katane is an assistant Mens coach at Saint Anselm College and the Director of Coaching for the Boys U11-U14 age groups for the NH Classics. He joined the NH ODP Staff ion 2009. Katane holds an NSCAA National coaching diploma, and is a candidate for the USSF C License. A native of Morocco, Mehdi played for Wydad AC in Casablanca.

Caitlin Mayo
Former Merrimack High, SUSC and Classics, NH Lady Phantoms and NH ODP star Caitlin Mayo returned to her native state to join the NH ODP Staff in 2009, after a stellar four year playing career at Roger Williams College in Rhode Island. Caitlin stayed on at Roger Williams to serve as an assistant coach for both the men’s and women’s varsity programs, and has also coached at the Carumba Skills Camps and for the Rhode Island ODP Staff. Caitlin currently holds a USSF “E” License.

Jon Mayo
Jon Mayo joined the ODP Goalkeeping Staff in 2008. Jon plays at the collegiate level for New England College, where he was an All-Conference goalkeeper. Jon was formally an All-State and All-New England goalkeeper for Merrimack High School, where he also represented New Hampshire for the Lions Cup. Jon was a NH ODP player, and played club soccer in New Hampshire for Hampshire FC, Classics, Seacoast United, and The NH Phantoms Super Y and PDL team.

Deb McDonough
The NH ODP Girls staff is led by veteran Deb McDonough, who is the U13 Girls Head Coach. Deb has been a NH ODP coach since 1994, and has been a Head Coach for the Academy of Notre Dame Varsity, for the Trinity High School Varsity, and for U17 and U18 MISL Girls. She was a High School All-American at state-champion Tolland High in Connecticut, and played collegiately at William and Mary. Deb holds a USSF C License.

Mark Ruest
U13 Boys Head Coach Mark Ruest has been on the NH ODP Staff since 1994; Mark also serves on the US Youth Soccer Region 1 Girls Coaching Staff, and is the NHSA Director of Coaching and Player Education. Mark has worked as an Assistant Coach for the New Hampshire College Women, and as the Head Coach for the Kennet High School Varsity Boys. Mark holds a USSF A License and National Youth License.

Gene Smith
Gene Smith joined the NH ODP Staff in the spring of 2005, simultaneous to his acceptance of the Women's Head Coach position at Plymouth State University, and after serving one season as an assistant coach at Norwich University. A 1998 graduate of Norwich, Smith was a former two-year starter for the Cadets. He also was a two-year starter at Xavier University in Cincinnati before transferring back to New England at Norwich. Smith was a former All-State player in Guilford, Conn., and has competed and coached for several Premier teams in the Constitution State. He has also enjoyed success in semi-professional and professional settings with various teams in the USISL. Smith also has coaching experience at the high school level in Connecticut and with Olympic Development Programs in Connecticut and Vermont. He currently holds a USSF ³B² Coaching License.

Craig Stam
Craig Stam joined the NH ODP Staff in 1999, and has served in the role of Head Coach since the 2003 season. He holds a USSF B License, and also coaches soccer at Bishop Brady. Stam presently plays with several club teams in the state; and he played collegiately at the University of South Florida.

Brooke Tanger
Former Connecticut ODP player herself, Brooke also as a high school athlete was a 4 year varsity all conference player for Lyman Memorial High School. From 1998 to 2004 Brooke played for numerous CT Premier Soccer Clubs, including Oakwood, Wolves, Northeast United and World Class United. After high school she found a home as a varsity athlete at Plymouth State University. Brooke was appointed to the NH ODP Staff in 2007, and she currently also coaches the Varsity Girls at Plymouth Regional High School and the U-12 Girls for Concord Express soccer club. Brooke also works with Goals Galore camps.

Paul Vazquez
Paul Vazquez joined the NH ODP Staff in 2003. He has been the boy's varsity coach at Hillsboro-Deering High School, and he is currently the Women's Head Coach at New England College - he holds a USSF C License. Paul played collegiate soccer at Canisius College.

Jay Vogt
Jay Vogt is currently the Bow High School girls Varsity Head Coach, and holds a USSF D License - he has served on the NH ODP staff since 1996. Jay has been a District head coach since 1999, and has been an assistant coach with both the U16 and U19 boys teams, and now the U15 Girls. He also coaches club soccer with the Bow Soccer Club. Jay played collegiate soccer at Castleton State College, and was named the NHIAA JV soccer coach of the year in 2000!

Jeff Vogt
Jeff has been a NH ODP coach since 1996 where he served as a NH ODP District Boys coach until 2002 when he took over the U16 Girls. Since 2003 he has been the U15 Girls State coach. Jeff is very active with youth soccer in the Upper Valley and south, and also coaches soccer at John Stark High School and John Stark United; he played collegiately at Castleton State College. Jeff holds a USSF C License.

Tomek Wartenberg
Tomek joined the ODP staff in 2008 to work with the Boy’s U-12 team. He also currently works with Seacoast United as an assistant to the boy’s academy teams, and he is the head coach for the reserve soccer team at Dover High School. As a youth Tomek played for several premier soccer clubs, including Maine Coast United, Sothern Maine Premier, and Coastal Soccer Club.

Lenny Webb
This is Lenny's 3rd year with NH ODP, previous 2 years with the U14 girls before moving across to the boys program. He is the Coaching Director and co-founder of Elite UK Soccer Training, LLC, and holds a USSF C and U.E.F.A B Coaching License. Lenny was a youth school boy player with English Premier team West Ham United, semi-professional soccer player in the English Hellenic and the Ryman Soccer Leagues, and has been the Varsity Head Coach at Milford High School, and Head coach of club sides within the Granite State and Seacoast Leagues, as well as the Co-head of development for 12 teams at Souhegan Valley United Soccer Club. Lenny currently coaches with Granite FC, and is a teacher in the Nashua school system.

Robert Wright
Plymouth State University Men's Head Coach Rob Wright joined the NH ODP Staff in 2002 as the Head Goalkeeper Coach, and also served as the interim Head Coach of the U17 Boys State Team that year; he was elevated to the position of Head Coach for the 2003 season. Coach Wright holds a UEFA - English FA Coaching Certificate, the NSCAA Advanced National Diploma and National Goalkeeping Diplomas, and a USSF A license and National Youth License. Rob is also the Director of Coaching for PLAY SOCCER camps in New England.
